SET4food closing conference

12 April 2018, Milan – Italy, International conference "Comprehensive Energy Planning in critical settings - from emergency to development”

Starting from the consideration that access to fuel and energy is often neglected in critical developing areas and in humanitarian settings, the conference will serve as a high-level platform for discussion on the main challenges, and the need of integrated approaches for an efficient management of resources, energy, water, food, land and climate in critical settings, from emergency towards development.

It will be organized in three participative sessions following the presentation of the main outcomes of SET4Food, and it will produce a set of recommendations for further research activities and networking on the subject. At the end of the event, the best case studies that participated in the SET4food humanitarian energy award will be awarded, in the spotlight of relevant humanitarian and development international organizations, donors and private sector companies.
