Electric stoves are technological devices that transform electrical energy into heat. The most common technologies that use electricity for cooking are electric plates and microwave ovens.d stoves.

Advantages/Disadvantages

Advantages

  • Zero emission during the cooking phase;
  • High efficiency;
  • Very quick (microwave).

Disadvantages

  • Require electricity;
  • Not always portable;
  • Cost (>20$);
  • Suitable for pots with small capacity;
  • High cooking time (electric plates).
